Historic Midtown Memphis, Tennessee
A Historic Home.
An Unforgettable Stay.
Experience Midtown Memphis from one of its most storied addresses.
Est. 1926
Built in 1926.
Loved Ever Since.
In 1926, May Laurenzi commissioned a new home at 309 N. McLean, designed by the Memphis firm Regan & Weller. The house earned a 'Red Seal' for its electrical wiring that same year — the gold standard of the day. Over the decades that followed, it hosted weddings, receptions, garden club meetings, and a Heritage House Tour. It was, from the beginning, a house where Memphis life happened.
In 2022, Ryan and Justine Borden purchased the home and set about honoring everything it had accumulated over nearly a century. Today, McLean Manor is exactly what this address has always been: a place where history and hospitality meet, right in the heart of Midtown.

“This house was beautiful and just as described! With eclectic, fun, antiquey furniture and stylings, they did a great job making it feel modern, but also keeping its original charm and quirkiness. Beds were comfortable and had everything we needed. We really loved it here! Would highly recommend for large groups coming to the Memphis area!”
“Was an easy 8-minute drive to get downtown — it was the perfect location! The house has so much character and the space was more than enough for our whole group. We'll absolutely be back.”
